Round Hickorynut

The round hickorynut has been lost from 90% of its former range. Populations in Lake Erie, the Detroit River, offshore Lake St. Clair, the Thames River and the Grand River appear to have been lost. The population in the Sydenham River is declining. The only significant population in Canada of the round hickorynut is found in the shallow waters of the St. Clair delta.
